Gear Express will always try to bring our customers the best possible shipping rates in all of South Africa.
This means Gear Express does not hold physical stock of all our listed products and will ship most of the orders from our suppliers.
Our products are dispatched directly from our suppliers at various warehouses in and around JHB, DBN, and CPT; depending
on your delivery address and stock availability at our supplier warehouses.

Collection From Gear Express (Alberton)

  • Collection from our HQ in Alberton can be arranged on special request.
  • Normally Collection is available within 2 to 5 business days after payment is received.
  • Please note, that orders will only be released as soon as payment has  reflected in our account.                                                                                            Please use the immediate payment option provided by your bank in order to avoid delays with the collection of your order.

Courier Delivery

  • Please note Gear Express has a flat rate of R149 courier fee.
  • Some items may incur additional charges due to the weight of the total order.
  • Normal Delivery Time’s:
    Major Centres 1 – 4 Business days
    Regional Areas 2 – 5 Business days
    Outlying Areas 4 – 8 Business days
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day following such day.
  • Delivery times exclude weekends and public holidays.

Door - Door Delivery

  • Our Couriers deliver door to door (Residential or Business areas)
  • Our couriers don’t give exact delivery times and will deliver between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. (Excluding public holidays)
  • Please note we do not release stock until payment has been reflected in our account. (Including in the event where proof of payment was presented) – Should you require your order urgently, please remember to make
    use of the “immediate payment” option when making a payment.

VAT Charge (15%)

  • Please note we are not a VAT-registered company
  • This means we do not charge our customers any type of VAT
  • We are in the process of being VAT compliant 
  • We are registered with CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission) in South Africa.
  • You may check our registration with any government website (CIPC, Bizportal etc.)

Tracking Of Parcel

  • As soon as your order has been dispatched, we will send you a tracking/waybill number which you can then use to track your delivery.
